Trying to keep within 100 words or so. Sonya has great things to say here. Made me think about the memories that get stored in ordinary things. The China teapot recalls grandma and English teatime. The tiny salt and pepper shakers, possibly stolen, from which salt doesn’t pour because of the humidity. Toothpicks in a tiny crystal vase. The TV Giude with its iconic red and white logo takes me back to watching The Honeymooners with Nana, for some odd reason. And ultimately, my gaze is drawn out the window to the green lawn where, a minute after this photo, two spotted fawns go skipping.
